The Prayer of Faith

Is ANY sick among you? let them call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord: and the PRAYER of FAITH shall HEAL the sick, and the Lord shall raise them up; and if they have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (James 5:14-15)

GOD’S WILL TO HEAL
The promise was made to ANY sick …those who are sick. The PRAYER of FAITH can never be offered, while you are in doubt whether it is Gods WILL to HEAL you.
WILL (GK) Choice, Purpose, Desire or Pleasure.
”And you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and your water; and I will TAKE SICKNESS away from the midst of you. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: and the NUMBER of YOUR DAYS I will fulfil.” (Exodus 23:25-26)
I am the LORD that HEALS YOU. (Exodus 15:26)
Surely he hath borne our SICKNESSES (grief's), and carried our DISEASES (sorrows): yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we ARE healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17)
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye WERE healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
God established himself as a HEALER from the beginning.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who FORGIVES all your iniquities; who HEALS ALL your diseases; (Psalm 103:2-3)
Knowing the WILL of God is VITAL for steadfast faith.
NO longer can the believer pray for the sick with that faith destroying phrase –If it be your will?
Jesus said "I have come to do your Will"
"I only do those things that the Father shows me."
READ (Hebrews 10:7, John 6:38)
Jesus was God in HUMAN form, who only did the WILL of God. Jesus healed the sick, cast out devils and raised the Dead. This is the WILL of God.

Jesus Christ the SAME yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)

Jesus did NOT go around putting sicknesses and diseases on people.
"JESUS HEALS TODAY"

FAITH & HOPE
Now faith is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, the EVIDENCE of things NOT SEEN. (Hebrews 11:1)
FAITH is NOW - HOPE is FUTURE
Now FAITH means that we are CONFIDENT of what we hope for, CONVINCED of what we do NOT see. (Moffatts Translation)
You HOPE that you will get healed of that sickness.
FAITH says that you HAVE it NOW.
Q. Do you BELIEVE that you will be healed?
Wrong answer - I hope so.
Right answer - I believe that when I ask, I have it by FAITH.

Who AGAINST hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered NOT his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, NEITHER yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He STAGGERED not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was STRONG in faith, giving glory to God; And being FULLY persuaded that, what he had promised, he was ABLE also to perform. (Romans 4:18-21)
In the NATURAL there was no hope, Yet he believed in the GOD of HOPE, And his believing was FAITH in what God said ..HIS WORD..

FAITH must have its foundation in God’s Word.
Nothing shall be impossible unto you. (Matthew 17:20)
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)
If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:14)

BELIEVE YOU RECEIVE
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. (Mark 11:24)
YOU MUST believe that you have received it by FAITH (UNSEEN) BEFORE YOU HAVE (SEE) IT.
Your confession of Faith says what God’s Word says. SAYING WHAT GOD SAYS
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our CONFESSION, Christ Jesus (Hebrews 3:1)
That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION is made unto salvation (Includes Healing & Deliverance). (Romans 10:9-10)

Jesus is the High Priest of OUR CONFESSION.
CONFESSION comes first, then SALVATION is the RESULT in JESUS.

THE PRAYER OF FAITH
Is ANY sick among you.. and the PRAYER of FAITH shall HEAL the sick, and the Lord shall raise them up.. (James 5:14-15)
1. FAITH CONFESSION - says it is MINE NOW.
2. FAITH CONFESSES - what Gods Word says.
3. CONFESSION comes before MANIFESTATION
4. FAITH & PATIENCE you inherit the promises.
That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through FAITH and PATIENCE inherit the promises. (Hebrews 6:12)
PATIENCE - steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity

JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER (HEBREWS 13:8)
